Richard C has the basic correct answer; steam ships travel at all different speeds depending on the type of ship (her size) and the size of the engine. And Shark Weak needs to study more. There ARE steam-powered ships all over the world, and most are fairly new. My husband's ship is steam-powered, is close to 900+ feet long and carries cargo all over the globe (he's a US merchant marine). Actually, steam powered ships are more economical to fuel than regular fuelled ships.

But discharging beyond 80% or so will damage your batteries, and furthermore, by the time they get down to 50% state of charge, performance will be seriously degraded. So effectively, you're looking at 5 hours by the numbers, but the peukert effect (google it -- faster discharge means less run time) will cost you anywhere from 10 to 40% depending on quality and age of the batteries. Bottom line, 3 to 4.5 hours of run time.

You don't actually 'need' a degree, good A levels including Maths, Physics and Geography will suffice, then you need to be able to raise £40,000 - £60,000 to fund the training up to commercial level licences. Realistically, if you get don't top grades at GCSE level you had better start thinking of a different career. You have to realise that an airline pilot has responsibility for the lives of hundreds of people every time he gets behind the controls so the standards are high and the competition for jobs fierce.

No, it will not fly the same. There is a little problem of scale. If you build it smaller than the original (I presume you are talking about a scale model) there is a little problem of effect of Reynolds’s numbers that change the dynamics of the way the airframe behaves in the air. If you build the airplane large enough to get into and fly, it is not a model.

No, it really doesn't. Another aircraft is typically too small to be painted by weather radar. We do have TCAS (traffic collision avoidance system) but both aircraft have to be equipped with it for it do its job.

Sounds like you need to focus on conversion, it's hard to do very scientific split testing without a larger number of sales, you certainly should read up on sales copy, perhaps a book or 2 by some of the veteran copywriters, a lot of the techniques that worked 30 years ago still apply. You can monitor smaller things like bounce rates, load speed is one big factor, but individual pages that too many users immediately leave probably need a rework, while moderate quality or spun articles are sufficient for SEO purposes, better quality pre-sell copy is needed on your pages, in some cases you need to avoid saying too much, leave some suspense that must be resolved by the product.
