hi Blondie - thanks for your help with my question! If you want to sound really shocked in French, generally you can say "Zut alors" (the s is silent). Literally, for the French, it's "Damn it!" but you can say it in an expression of shock. Example: "Quelle age-as tu?" (How old are you?) "J'ai cent ans" (I am a hundred years old) "Zut Alors!" (Oh my god/no way!) Example 2: "Ou est mon ordinateur?" (Where is my computer?) "Je l'ai oublie" (I have lost it) "Zut Alors!" (Oh my god!/Seriously!) Hope this helps
