    i dont actually know, i think we have a HDMI cable on ours although i know what you mean about the difference of quality when without it, maybe its a sly tactic from tv companies to get people to purchase those cables and invest in more equipment for the Tv, you never know

  2. Its cos it's designed to have one and the quality should be great for a HDMI box
    now im so use to my HDMI box when i watch it normally i think my tv's messd!
