   I think that in some aspects it was harder for them than us as ours is easier with the advancement of technology and such things making tasks a whole lot simpler and more efficient. Having said that though, i think that it is harder for today's generation to get anywhere in life without having to stress about education and such things but we should appreciate such stress because we are given opportunities most of our parents never had, so i guess there two sides to the situation but i would say our lives are a heck of a lot easier. :)

   Yes there life was billion tyms harder than where we living nd how they have lived. Again back in dais they use to stress over something that was worth stressing, wen it cums to US" 21st century kids are stressing over looks/fashion and Onlyy God knows why?? wen really we have everything that our parents didnt have.
   
   parents- No tym to sleep
   work all day
   feed them selves and the family they were living with
   no privacy
   limited Money
   they had to gather around peoples house to watch movies
   Parents back in days use to stress over matters like how do i feed myself and my family.
   Where do i go that i may have a better pay'd job
   
   Children these days
   Technology
   mobile phones
   were we have a T.V to our self lets not forget laptop High defintion Tv & more
   unlimited Money, unlimitte calls/text
   a room to ourselves
   privacy
   as for childrens like us we have education and yet we stress over things like OMG my girlfriend is going out with my best mate Omg i just broke off with my Boyfriend So REALLY!! U tell me, the life that we have is way much easier than the life out parents have.

   Hey there Arslan, im just going to be short and simple since the others have said all there is to say, our stress and our parents stress are very two different things, but i can assure you probably wouldnt last a day in their shoes as they had to tackle a lot more than a few exams.
   They had to deal with trying to make money for a living when they had no or very little education to start with. Thats harder than having education but no job.
   They had to figure out when the next meal may come onto their table and would it be enough to last them the night?
   These are also things that very unfortunate people out there still face.
   Its truly sad but its the reality we live in, we can lay back onto our laptops and tv being a 'typical 20th century teen' while our parents, their average day being even a 15 year old would be work work and more work. Physical labour in the form of housework or manual jobs to help the family and bring home some money.
   
   Times are always hard and tough, it depends on how we look at it, we should look up to our parents and see how they managed to make it through all that hardship and ask ourselves, if they can do it why cant we?
   Interesting question once again Arslan, i've obviously kept this very short(!)

    I think my parents life was much more difficult than mine as they didn't have half the things we have now. Yes you might be thinking that education is much more difficult now, which might just be true but think about all the other things that we have and they didn't- we have a comfortable lifestyle.
    We take so much for granted such as being able to go out whenever we want and always having money on us- not feeling like we don't have enough money to buy something as small as a chocolate bar- I swear our parents didn't have half the oppurtunities/luxuries that we have now. If anyone from back then looked at our lifestyle now, they would think that we are living like royalty!
