Tags: i still dont understand how cashback works like when you go into a store and they say do you want cashback
Report abuseLike plumchum said, it's the same as an ATM system. The store charges your debit card/credit card some money and gives that exact same amount back to you in cash.
Basically it's like an ATM system. Suppose you want £20 cash back from tescos, they will charge you £20 on your debit/credit card and just give you £20 back in cash. It's useful if you need cash and don't want to go to an ATM machine
its like a talking cash machine...
for example if u wanted £10 ..instead of finding a cash machine and taking money out...U say £10 when they ask u if u would like cashback..
if they say do you want cash back say yeah if u want some cash or no if u dont.
If you want £10 cashback..
you pay the store £10 by debit card > they give you £10 back in cash
It's like a talking ATM system :D
