   Perfectionist

   What do you have to do? simple - stay one step ahead on all your assignments revise from the very start keep catching up on your homework ask teachers what you will be learning for the next week read up and learn prior to the teaching that way you've learnt the material in advance
   
   and when the teachers go through it during class it will brush up your memory and give you the oppertunity to throw questions and when you ask questions - those answers given to you tend to stick in your mind forever

   well paco, what you can do first and foremost is attend EVERYTHING.
   This shows you have been taking everything seriously and want to do well. Your attendance usually reflects yoru achievments so dont skip days and lessons.
   Also if the teacher gives extra supplementary reading, then what you should do is go for it, even if its not compulsory just attempt it and show the teacher that at least you tried. Good luck
