   aw bless, welcome to yabyab!! i agree with you and your parents,
   i barely watch tv anymore as there is always a LOT of junk and nonsense on there and its bad enough for it to destroy your brain with such stuff.
   Peace tv does nothing but inform and educate and if anything it leaves you with lot to think about and more peaceful in that sense.
   Dont worry about the essays, us yabbers want to hear them!

   I must say I like you already the way you made this question I see a very wisdomic woman infront of me I am a muslim alhamdulilah and I know exactly what you mean the programmes help the younger kids to understand what they cant understand in the books its hard to get a child to read books but easier for you to make him sit near you to watch and hear
   
   I also agree with the mis information on the tv programmes anything can be said wrong - you then tell your friend then he tells his friend then this gets spreaded around and it may be wrong but I think the benefits of these programmes outweigh the disadvantages

   I Love this question as well.
   Your dad is very wise and clearly there is more to learn from watching peace tv rather than something like MTV which a lot of kids these days watch.
   Even if a child simply sits there for an hour or so s/he will hear the beautiful suraa's being read and the adhaan many times a day. The more we hear those verses from the Qu'ran the more our hearts wants more. There is nothing better than wanting to be more interested in islam and wanting to learn more and become even more educated than we are.
   The more questions we raise about islam after watching a channel the better, it means we want to know the real answer and find out the correct one, so i think this channel and other islamic channels for exampe Islam Channel is very beneficial and doesnt do much harm.

   I am a convert and i have to say that i have learnt so much from watching such channels like Peace tv and Iqra Tv, they have a lot of talks and speakers on some of the programmes that tackle issues and questions many may have about islam in general.
   I think as the others have said the advanatages clearly outweigh the disadvantages. x

   Thank you so much for your feedback! Its great to hear from non Muslims and Muslims. But what i want to know is that like we get people (still to this date) throwing out "knowledge" without proof and many 'ignorant' muslims believe them, how can PeaceTV overcome that? apart from being broad casted to many nations across the world and holding events in (mainly) India..
