hi, i am doing a debate tommorow at college and want some ideas :) can you help?? i just want know why people should download music from itunes and what are the advantages???

   Well, if you say you're a big fan of someone why not show that you truly support them by purchasing their music legally. They've taken their time to make music you enjoy - they deserve that much. You also always know you're going to get a good copy which isn't always guaranteed with illegal sites or having to search for ages on YouTube.

   good to see you again..
   Of course i can help you with your question, what you need in any good debate is a long list of points. So you can bring up a point and elaborte on it each time to go against the person who will fire back with a disadvantage.
   
   Heres a load of advantages that i could think of...
   
   - Every download is Legal so you'll be sure to have a clean conscience as well as no fines to your name.
   - The track will be an original copy and not something that sounds like a 'radio edit' - Good Quality
   - The Download itslef is safe and secure than other places so even if you were to Purchase a song from another website Itunes will have a safe and secure service when you purchase so you are protected and your bank details will be secure.
   - The downloads will be safe and will guarantee you no viruses as opposed to some websites that may carry trojans and other such viruses that may damage your computer as well as be able to retrieve personal information
   - Becasue it is Itunes one of the most well known features on it are Syncing, this allows you to 'Synchronise' your entire playlist that you have purchased all into your music device with the touch of one click. So its fast and easy.
   - It is incredibly user friendly and is so advanced and up to date seeing as it is by Apple after all, so it will be virtually free of any glitches or software problems.
   - Downloading/Purchasing songs from Itunes as opposed to getting them free is a surefire way of helping your favourite artist. They will recieve direct support becasue you chose to buy their song and will be able to continue living thier dream as a singer/songwriter and become more famous with a bigger fanbase etc Simply becasue they will earn something from your purchases, helping them create more songs for you hearing pleasure.
   - The formats on itunes are usually Mp3 which is univerally supported by many devices which means less headache for you to convert it to something else.
   - Its so fast and efficient
   - As ABC said its also environmentally friendly as instead of buying CDs, you save all that paper and plastic by simply downloading it straight to your device.
   -Which also saves you a trip to the shops as well and you save money as you pay strictly the price of the song itself and none of the packaging.

   ... I just remembered another important point, a HUGE advantage of using Itunes is that the Synching feature means that you will be sure to have ALL those songs in two places. So if you were to lose your music device, in most cases the Ipod/Iphone then you will have an entire copy of all of the data in the computer so you wouldnt have to worry about trying to remember what to download again or how much money would have been lost becasue all those songs have gone with the device etc...

   BECAUSE ITS LEGAL TO DO SO! and you feel morally very good about yourself because downloading illegally is wrong. you could say how an artist loses out of alot of money from their tracks because of illegal downloads and that it provides fairness to them. its easier and more direct to download other than downloading of an external site and dragging to itunes anyways.
