  1. I would try vinegar, apparently it gets rid of the pain & sting.

  2. 1. At my last visit to my doctors office the nurse mentioned that they were seeing many patients with bee stings. I asked her what was the most popular home remedy for bee stings and what she would recommend. She said that probably the most popular remedy to ease the pain and itching of a bee or wasp sting is apple cider vinegar. If thats not available plain old vinegar will work just fine. Vinegar is something that most folks keep on hand so it is used more than anything else.

    2. Myself and two of my fellow exterminators prefer to use adolfs meat tenderizer mixed with a small amount of water. Its easy to carry in the glove box of your truck and lasts forever.

    3. Ice works just as well as any treatment I've tried. Just place an ice cube on the sting for 10 or 15 minutes at a time as needed. Takes away the pain and also the swelling. Also it will work on your dog if he happens to get stung.

    4. Recently a friend of mine told me that he was bitten on the lip by a bumble bee, but said it didn't hurt much because he had immediately put a dab of baking soda on it. I told him that bees do not bite as they don't have teeth, although the honeybee queens have sharp, teeth-like mandibles that can be used for cutting, I was glad to hear the baking soda took away the pain since I was the one that gave him the remedy.
    5. And finally, probably the oldest remedy for a bee sting is mud. one part dirt and one part water placed on the sting and the pains are gone. Why it works I don't know, but it really does seem to work and it's always available. I remember as a child running home crying to my mother after being stung many times at a neighborhood kickball game and she plastered me with mud. It really seemed to take the pain and the swelling away.

The least popular and most unusual sting remedy I know of is to rub a crushed cockroach on the sting area to relieve pain. Most types of cockroaches are filth bugs and carry bacteria so this is one I don't recommend.

    MORE REMEDIES

Use soap and water to gently cleanse the area of the bee stings. Repeat cleansing of the bee sting area two or three times a day until stings are healed.

    2. Mix a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to bee stings. Leave the paste on for 15 or 20 minutes at a time.

    3. First aid treatment--Take aspirin, acetaminophin, or ibuprofen to stop pain from bee stings. Consider using additional treatment remedies for pain, itching and infection cause by bee sting

    4. Put Half an onion on stings to help stop the pain and swelling
