   Usually when i say the riddle it goes like this...
   
   "A man walks into a bar and asks for a glass of water. The bartender pulls out a shotgun and points it at him. The man then says thank you and leaves.
   My questions to you is Why did the man thank the bartender and manage to leave?"
   
   So then you'd say Hiccups because the man asked for a glass of water for the hiccups but the bartender decided to scare the man with the gun therefore hiccups are gone and the man leaves.
