  2. Hey there Paco,
When you take out a home insurance there is no line in the contract that says your car in the driveway, nor your expensive plants in the front garden are covered.
Home insurance means everything within the home. Simlple as.
Cars come with their own insurance and you have to look into that contract to see whether you qualify from a fire which came from your home and spread onto the car.
There are different types of coverage such as Contents which is whats inside, and also Building insurance, for example the walls, structure, new bathroom you put in etc.
The more you want covered the more you pay.
Here is an example of how a company Santander lays out their coverage plans.

I hope i have helped and be sure to keep yabbing =)

  4. Good afternoon Paco

It is all in the keyword "house" insurance I can see why you may have got confused due to the car/vehible itself being in the drive but the valuation and the insurance given to you is estimated with the houses value and that's why when living in the UK insuring the car is a must if your car is not insured it simply should not be on the road it would be seen as illegal

Coming back to your question simply your car has a seperate insurance/premium and the house has it's own I have never heard of both as of yet as house insurance is far more complicated than car insurance

I hope this helps have a lovely day

  5. LOL. HOUSE insurance. Its self explanatory. All about the HOUSE, nothing about the CAR.
Thats why we have a separate insurance called Car insurance. You wouldn't be driving around without car insurance in the first place anyways so home insurance wouldnt even bother with this.

  10. Most companies do not include motor vehicles. House insurance excludes the car. Otherwise evrybody would be doing that. This is to prevent fraud
