Report abuseNo way would that work for you, i have a cousin and she literally has to skimp on everything to stay alive, you neev more than a student loan if you want to live properly. Get a second job. good luck
Im not sure, maybe enough but that would be very hard, think about food and money for emergency and clothes. Will be very hard.
Good afternoon
I have a friend who is currently living out in university but she is living on campus it may be just slightly lower however the student loans given to you by the agencies are given to you for a reason and that is to more or less cover the costs of atleast the rent.
In my friends case she was left with excess of £300 so she had £300 extra left over to spend everytime her rent needs to be paid so along with the grant, rent and bursary it can be managable
if for any reason it isn't managable you can take out further loans if it is needed otherwise I do not advise taking out such loans as you know the student loan is the lowest rate you will come across in your life otherwise bank loans tend to rip you off
I hope this helps have a lovely evening
Hello there,
i have a cousin who doesnt live on campus, she has found accomodation but its so costly and the cheapest she could find. Along with the normal student loan that she has gotten she isnt left with much but the loan is enough to cover it. Although £90 a week for her is quite a bit. She does have a job and all she is doing is saving and spending very wisely.
Its a full house with kitchen and two bedroom being shared with one other student.
This is near middlesex and is literally 5 minute walk from her campus which is perfect but as you can see it comes with a price.
I suggest, spend very wisely since you are on private accomodation and a job will help you greatly.
Best of luck,
I hope i have helped and be sure to keep yabbing =)
they give you a bigger loan though in order to cover moree expenses such as rent well they do in my uni and if they dont then it definatly wont be enough if your unemployed
it should do. surely you should have known this before you took out your loan lol
ummmmmmmm no
Yes, don't spend unnecessarily and it should be enough. Pair it up with a part time job and you're good to go :)
