  1. Its called sleep paralysis.
When you are in the deepest stage of your sleep, it is called REM sleep. This is when your brain is active but your body is paralysed (sometimes called paradoxical sleep as well). As your brain is very active at this point, you are more likely to dream at this stage and your body is paralysed so that you don't act out your dreams (or sleepwalk).
Just stay relax and it will eventually go away within seconds/minutes.

    :)

  2. Hello there Arslan,
Mummy would tell you that its something else entirely =o

But i think Nerds along the right lines, even my cat goes through Rem sleep. Rem stands for repetitive eye movement i think, if i remember correctly, but yes you are sort of paralysed in your sleep and have such an active brain that you feel a little suffocated and panicky, nothing to worry about, relax those muscles calm yourself and it'll go away within seconds.
Hope i have helped and be sure to keep yabbing =)

  6. OMG I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME! THIS HAPPENS TO ME SOMETIMES AND I ABSOLUTELY CRAP MYSELF. it takes a few seconds to come out of it and if you wanna go back to sleep straight away.. you go in that mode again. It slyly feels quite good tho. But then becomes overwhelming doesnt it.
