  1. I use Pro Naturals Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment with Heat Protector, it helps strengthen the hair that's prone to breakage, splitting or snapping off, gently smoothes the hair and form a protective mist on surface against heat damage, reduces friction from brushing and helps prevent further damage, leaves hair healthy, shiny and resilient and provides heat protection against electronic hair tools. You must use it after you use the straightener

  2. To get your hair a natural shine, after u take a shower rinse with cold water, and after your shower, take anti frizz cream and run it through your hair with a paddle brush. ( those r the brushes that look like paddles!) then air dry your hair, after it is all dry, straighten it with a hair straightener.

  8. I echo what some of the others said, GHD although a little pricey is a very good buy. it has ceramic plates that helps the straightener glide through your hair and distribute the heat evenly avoiding hotspots. Try avoiding heat tools in general and try to moisturise and hyrdrate your hair as often as you can. Avoid combing or brushing when hair is wet as its at its weakest and prone to breakage. Use conditioning masks at least once a week and oil your hair often =)

  9. GHD's are really good in the sense that they won't damage your hair. Make sure you use thermal protection spray to protect your hair before straightening though, just to be on the safe side. Also, use hair volumising shampoo and put mustard oil on your hair a few hours before you shower :)

  10. Would say oil your hair 1st to maintain it before using any heat on there, but i use Tony and guy serum after washing my hair because if you blow dry it does make your hair straight. i would recommend GHD even though i don't use it but have tried it couple times.
    Hope I've helped!
