Question:

Do you believe in the saying that if you do not have anything nice to say, to stay quiet?

Asked in Etiquette  |  192 days ago

Is it best to stay quiet during those times or is something like constructive criticism okay? When should you be honest and when should you just stay quiet?

Just curious, thanks Yabbers :)

  1. I would say that things like knowing the limit is very important, knowing whether your advice or opinion is constructive or it is rude is crucial.

It also depends on the person as well as some can take the critisism and others can, its up to you and how good your judging is.

  2. Yes, i beleive in that saying, i rather not hurt another persons feelings if they cannot take what i say in a constructive way.
Just pity spiteful things is always better left unsaid, but things like 'should i excercise more, i think im going fat'

You should answer honestly as it will benefit them, but answer it in a way that encourages them rather than making them feel obese and self conscious.
'I think a little bit of excersise here and there could be healthy for you'

    You get my drfit. ..
