   learning new things can never go to waste extra knowledge extra skills but you need to ask yourself will you be using such a skill set in your life or not if the answer is no I would reconsider

   hmm i dont wana work in social care or anything as i have studied National Diploma in Business & Computing.... its just weird wen i see ppl.... around shop tryna get their messge across to the employees... nd they dnt get a single tiing... well that reminds me of a punjabi women asking an employee for sumthing nd i happen to be there..., to purchase few things.... i saw her struggling so i went over nd helped her out.... (i only knew lil bit of punjabi but kinda understood her) nd so i would like to do that for other's...

    I would say go for it, learning sign language is a good thing as far as i know, you can never lose out on learning sign language. Its a special skill.
