I am in need of a Compact Digital Camera yet again. Whats the best one you would recommend?

I need one to take around with me everywhere. I used to have a Nikon but my daddy took it back home when he went on holiday for a bit and gave it away. I dont mind in the slightest as im more in a position to buy another than they would be as it is a poor country. Anyways, Thank you in advance!

    I would highly recomend a digital slr if you have money to spend rather than digital camera's
    as a digital slr is something permenant - compact camera's are good too id go for a cannon or a nikon or even a sony if you really want to go for one of those wish you the best tammy

    Well i would say the me perfectionsit said tha if you get a SLR it's the best but if you have the cash!
    If you want a compact really i'd prefer defiantly a Cannon or Nikon!

    DSLR cameras although very pricey are amazing and i know they're worth every penny but i would not be looking forward to carrying them in my small purses and bags :( Thats the only downside really. I will be looking to buy one of those soon though. Cant wait =) I might try out a canon this time.
